I want to bring more opportunities to JSA this includes but is not limited to more one days, more socials, more cabinet positions especially on our expansion team, a new branch similar to advocacy Called The IMPACT, a yearbook team, Mentorships, internships, and chapter cohorts.let me give you the rundown on each one.
MORE ONE DAY: I want every chapter to have the opportunity to host a one day. With everything I have planned JSA is going to need as many thought talks as possible which means we need more time to have these thought talks the best way to get us altogether between conventions is one days. That's not the only reason though we also need one days to fundraise and for candidate forums.
MORE SOCIALS: We need more opportunities to get to know each other and really meet not just talk about politics but also who we are as people what our goals are what our struggles are. Socials allow us to network on a deeper level and that's what we want. I want each region to hold three socials one before Fall State one after Fall State and one in between Winter Congress and Spring Sate.
EXPANSION TEAM: I want to have two teams within the expansion team one focusing on expansion on a larger scale and the other focusing on building up our smallest chapters. Id likes to have a cabinet member for each school with a chapter smaller than 20 members.
THE IMPACT: I want a large team thats ready to help make real change in the community and that isnt afraid of getting on the news.
YEARBOOK TEAM: I want to start a team that records all the awesome stuff we do here in JSA and makes it into a yearbook this will make more cabinet positions and it'll be a great way to fundraise. Above all else, it'll be great to be able to look back at my final year in JSA when I'm like 30.
MENTORSHIPS:I want to start off by letting JSAers know that we already have mentorships and teaching them how to apply for them. I'd like to give the mentorships to the freshman and sophomores to invest in the future of JSA.
INTERNSHIPS: If you rather have something you can put on your job resume we also have internships that I'd like to give to seniors that join the alumni network.
CHAPTER COHORTS: I want every chapter to be part of a 4 chapter team called Chapter Cohorts the idea is that each cohort will be in charge of making a huge impact in their communities and getting JSAs face known also helping each other with their one days.
